The Record

A feedback page never tells the whole story

Anthony "Tony" Bruno has been buying, selling, and placing vintage cardboard since 2001. That is not a marketing line — it is 487 completed sales and 100% positive feedback you can read for yourself, built one careful transaction at a time over 24+ years.

An eBay storefront proves the track record, but it can't tell you why a 1919 W514 Ruth matters, or what separates a graded piece from a story. This site is where the vault speaks — provenance, grading, and the standards behind every transaction, laid out so you can buy with the same confidence whether you reach us here or through the storefront.

Buyer Confidence

How a sale actually works

Every transaction is personally vetted. No bots, no boiler-room checkout — just clear authentication, sensible payment, and zero pressure to decide.

Authentication

Graded by PSA & SGC

High-value cards are independently certified and encapsulated by third-party graders — primarily PSA and SGC. The grade is on the slab, not on our word. Where a piece isn't formally graded, we say so rather than guess.

Payment

Secure, scaled to the piece

Big-ticket trophy pieces settle by secure bank wire or ACH; smaller acquisitions take major credit and debit cards. We match the method to the purchase and walk you through it — no surprises at checkout.

No Pressure

Private, unhurried intake

Inquiries are private and there is no clock on your decision. Ask anything, request provenance, take your time. We'd rather a piece find the right home than rush a sale.

Two Channels, One Standard

The vault and the storefront, side by side

This site doesn't replace our eBay storefront — it stands beside it. Prefer eBay's familiar checkout and buyer protections? The storefront is open, and 24+years of feedback live there. Want the full story of a trophy piece, or to talk through a private acquisition? That's what the vault is for. Same hands, same standard, whichever door you walk through.

Common Questions

Before you reach out

How long has Texas Vintage Collectibles been in business?
Since 2001 — 24+ years selling vintage sports memorabilia and trading cards, with 100% positive feedback across 487 lifetime sales. That track record began on our eBay storefront and continues here.
How do you verify that a card or piece is authentic?
High-value cards are submitted to and encapsulated by third-party graders — primarily PSA and SGC — so the grade and authenticity are independently certified, not just our opinion. Where a piece carries a formal grade we list it exactly as graded; where it does not, we say so plainly rather than guess.
What payment methods do you accept?
For larger trophy and featured pieces we use secure bank wire or ACH transfer. For smaller purchases we accept major credit and debit cards. The right method depends on the piece, and we walk you through it — no surprises at checkout.
Can I still buy through your eBay storefront?
Yes. Our eBay storefront stays fully open and active — both channels win. Many collectors prefer the familiar eBay flow and buyer protections, and we keep 487+ sales of feedback there for a reason. This site simply tells the story of the vault and our highest pieces in a way a listing page can't.
Do I have to commit on the spot?
Never. Inquiries are private and there is no pressure to decide. We would rather answer your questions, share provenance, and let a piece find the right home than push a sale. Reach out, ask anything, take your time.
