An original 1938 Acme Newspictures type photograph of Louis Zamperini winning the mile at the 17th National Collegiate Track and Field Championships in Minneapolis, setting a meet record of 4:08.9, with Charles Fenske of Wisconsin second. The caption slip is dated 6/19/38 and the back carries a June 23, 1938 reference-department stamp. The print is PSA photo-authenticated as a later-generation (not Type I) print. The images are of the actual print.
